Congratulations to the Valencia Firestorm GU10 Tournament Team (Coach David Owen / Assistant Coach Beth Woll) on taking first place at the Santa Clarita Showdown.  They won the championship game 1-0 (after winning their first three games 4-1, 5-0, and 4-3)!

The Valencia U12G team, coached by Scott Miller and David Rosen, took 2nd place at the Shamrock Showdown in Palmdale playing in freezing temperatures and a mini-monsoon.   In route to the 2nd place finish, the Valencia team did not allow a goal in 14 consecutive quarters.

The U19 girls played another weekend of great soccer in Carpinteria.  We went 3-1-0 with a total of 11 goals scored and 0 goals against them.

The Valencia United G-U12 participated in the LBYS Mayor's Cup Club tournament in Long Beach.
They went undefeated by scoring 13 goals and allowing only 2. Everyone played their very best. They won the Championship against the local G-U12 Club team 1-0.

The Buttercups U14G team took 2nd place at the Santa Barbara Splash Tournament.  The team outscored their opponents in the first three games 14-2.  The rematch with the Santa Barbara Extra team from the Santa Clarita Showdown was reduced to a penalty kick shootout.  Great job ... more

The Valencia Sun Devils once again battled back from a tight first game loss and won the next 3 games including defeating a tough Lancaster team twice to take 3rd place at Quartz Hill.  Well done and congratulations ladies!

Valencia Blitz, coached by Guillermo Cruz, and assisted by Eric Ige, Ariel Botvin, and Chris Scott, played at the Oxnard Sports Festival April 30 – May 1 and came away with second place!  Keep up the good work ladies!!

Girls U16 team Adventure Time coached by Ali Motamedi, and Daniel Ciallella took second place in the Armed Forces Tournament on May 15-16 in Torrance. Adventure Time scored a total of 10 goals while two of the games they shut out the opponents.
