Youth Referee Abuse Policy

Youth development is the central focus of all aspects of the AYSO (American YOUTH Soccer Organization) and the programs we offer. This includes ALL youth, whether they are players, coaches or referees. AYSO policy states we are to "provide a Safe, Fair and Fun" environment for all participants. Only "Positive, Instructive and Encouraging" comments are allowed to be directed towards any youth - player, coach or referee. The purpose of this policy is to make clear that any verbal abuse or negative criticism directed towards our youth players, coaches or referees is unacceptable. The policy includes basic procedures and standards for sanctions for improper conduct by adults toward our youths.
